Keith Morrison

Keith Morrison, age 63, passed away on Wednesday May 7th, surrounded by loved ones. He was born on February 7, 1962, to his parents EK and Pat Morrison, preceded in death by his father. Keith is survived by his mother, Pat; his sister Kristi Gaskin (John); nephew Ryne McClendon (Aubri); niece Sidney Goscinski (Drew); and his aunt Cathy Thompson (Tim).
During Keith’s life, he pursued a passion for acting by spending time in California and landed several parts in movies, plays, commercials and music videos. He continued this pursuit in North Carolina where he worked in Festival Park as a historical interpreter on Elizabeth II. He became a settler named “Randall” each day to portray the true magic for the students coming to the park or tourist arriving to hear the mystery of a lost colony.
Keith never missed a chance to share his talent to write a play for a church group, dance a jig at a party or sing along at karaoke. He will be missed by all who had the opportunity to share his extraordinary way of doing life.
The family would like to thank Shelby Baptist Hospital, and all his doctors and medical support team members for the wonderful care from the emergency room staff through to the MICU during his stay. We were truly blessed by the compassion and care portrayed by all and the love and attention he was given during these days in the hospital.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday May 31, at 10:00 am at Westwood Baptist Church, Alabaster, AL. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Keith’s life.
