Jurnal Hudson Dorough Age 72, of Chelsea, AL was a loving and caring person, a poppa to many and loving friend to those who know him. He was retired from U. S. Postal Service of 34 years. A member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Westover, AL. He knew God was in control of his life, enjoyed gardening, carpentry, mechanicing and Auburn Football. Preceded in death by an infant daughter, Marilyn Marie Dorough; parents, James Otis “O.D” and Cludie Dorough; brother, Joe Oliver Dorough, Charles Edward Dorough, James Crawford Dorough, Howard Lane Dorough; In-Laws, Zollie and Dovie Falkner. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Novia Falkner Dorough; sons, Daryl and Becky Dorough and David and Pam Dorough; grandchildren, Quintin Dorough, Joshua Dorough (fiancée, Melissa Bellflower), Daniel Dorough, Jonathon Dorough; brother, Elmore Dorough; sister, Dorthy Chance; uncle, Frank Webber; godchildren, Marnetta Moore, Abdo Amer (Tina); many adopted grandchildren and children. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Mt. Zion Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be at the church on Thursday at 1:00 PM. Burial will be in adjoin church cemetery.
