Vaudeane Elizabeth White

Vaudeane Elizabeth White, age 100, passed away in the comfort of her own home on Sunday, July 13, 2025.  She was born on August 27, 1924, to her parents, Walter E. Horton and Lillie Elzora Seale Horton, both have preceded her in death. Vaudeane is also preceded by her loving husband, Paul White, Sr.; children, Paul White Jr (Linda Lee Wells) and Linda Dean Castillo; grandchildren, Jeff White and Cynthia Diane Watson; sisters, Betty Jo Horton, Jesse Levene Horton, Irene Lucas, and Eloise Collins; and brothers Roland Horton and Jerald Horton. She is survived by her sons, Greg White (Lesia), Mark White, and Tim White and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great- great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Vaudeane was a mother and granny to all. She found joy in her housework. She was known to be a great seamstress, quilter, gardener, and cook.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at Charter Funeral Home. A visitation will be held at 1 p.m. followed by a service at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest in Summerhill Cemetery. Pastor Charlie Lloyd will be officiating.
