Truly one of the “great guys”. Bill was a gentleman, calm, friendly, caring and so smart on so many subjects. He was an interesting man and a delight to communicate with. He will be missed by many. RIP Bill.

I never got to meet Bill in person, we met through Social Media. Not sure who spoke first, but he called me Smoke and Mirrors, that got under my skin. Nobody gets under my skin, so I told him he was just a Reflection in a Mirror. So our battle of wits began, and matching wits with Bill was not an easy thing to do. Bill was shape with the wit, and I found out quick he was very intelligent. You didn’t one up Bill on the wit, and he was quick with it. Our conversations turn to talking about our lives growing up and throwing childhood memories back in forth. Like fried chicken at Grandma’s house on Sunday and being home by the time the street lights went out. Through our conversations I discovered just what a great person Bill was. I knew he was intelligent, but I found out just how real of a person he was. He was a good friend to his friends, a giver with a big heart, a great story teller of his adventure in travel. He loved animals, fishing and his little Granddaughter. After much conversation I come to realize he was lonely, yeah I knew he was single, but finding out he was lonely. Then he met Rose, and my first instinct, was she right for him. I wanted him to have the perfect person, and yes that was Rose. She turned out to be the soul mate that he needed in his life. I met Rose through Bill and came to know her and love her. I even teased him once that I liked her better than him. Now I had two good people to enjoy instead of one. My admiration for the two of them has no word for it. They built a life together that anyone would envy. Bill has gone to be with his Mother that he adored, we were not ready for that, but God had a plan that was bigger than ours. He will be missed terribly, he was one of a kind, and I am so thankful to still have Rose.
