Stephen Corey Farnetti

Stephen Corey Farnetti, 47 of Daphne, Alabama went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 10, 2022. Corey was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama on December 21, 1974. He was a 1993 graduate of Thompson High School and also graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.

Corey loved riding motorcycles and was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Corey was preceded in death by his grandparents; Alfonso and Eugenia Farnetti, Joe and Alice Lightsey, Jessie and Christine Medders. His Pop, Bob Green and his brother, William Green.

He is survived by his wife, Dana Farnetti: children, Ashli and Michael Whitfield, Alex Gough, and NoNo’s favorite girl, Isabella-Grace Farnetti. His father, Charles Farnetti (Judy) of Woodstock; mother, Doris Lightsey Green of Daphne; brothers, Gregg Farnetti (Angie) of Vance, Edward Green (Misti) of Woodstock, Chris White (Beverly) of Woodstock; sisters, Angela Nelson (Terrill)  of Woodstock, and Kandi Smith of  Woodstock. Corey is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many wonderful loving lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 16, 2022, at First Baptist Church Pelham. Visitation is at 10:00 a.m. with the service beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Johntown Cemetery, 5201 Vance Road West Blocton. Charter Funeral Home in Calera in handling Corey’s arrangements.
