Lydia Faye Burnett

Lydia “Faye” Burnett, age 67, passed away Thursday March 30, 2023 surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 6, 1956 to her parents Pauline and Ralph Patterson, both have preceded her as well as her brother, Frankie Patterson. Faye had a love of sewing, crocheting, and all aspects of nature. Survived by the love of her life for 48 years husband, Mike Burnett. Charter Funeral Home in Calera handling her arrangements.

    Fate was a loving and faithful friend to my husband, Calvin and me. I appreciated her kind and loving thoughtfulness. I was overjoyed when Faye called me to say that she had accepted Jesus as her Saviour. I hope to see her in Heaven.

    Whenever I see the first hummingbird of the year I think of Faye. I will forever think of her when I see hummingbirds and martins. My daddy & mama loved her & Mike so much. Daddy always loved to tease her and pick on her. She will be greatly missed by all who loved her. Rest in peace my friend. Mike, I love you and I am praying for you.
