Jeremy Michael Calton
Jeremy Michael Calton, age 49, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was Owner of Detail Paint in the Birmingham area. He won gold, silver, and bronze awards for painting in the Tour Of Homes. Jeremy was the assistant director for the sober living here in Birmingham, AL, Atlanta, GA, and North Carolina. He was a Louisiana boy from start to finish. Jeremy lived for his daughter, and she kept the joy in his life.
Jeremy is survived by his loving parents, David and Melissa Calton; daughter, Asher Raine Calton, and her mother, Alex Whitesell; sisters, Ashley C. Johnston and Lori C. Andrew (Corey); nieces, Victoria Kuehn and Alayna Johnston; grandmothers, Juanita M. Grantham and Mattie C. Childs; aunt, Melanie W. McGoldrick; uncles, Michael Grantham (Sandy) and John Woods; cousins, Amy W. Grandaw, Christy W. Gereighty and Jennifer Grantham-Powell (William); brothers, Sean Stephens and Brett Wilson; and a host of “Family” from Louisiana to Alabama, Geogia, North Carolina and Florida. He is preceded by his grandfathers, Tommy Grantham and Donald Calton; uncle, Mike McGoldrick; and cousins, Casey T. Woods.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 3, 2024, in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., his service will follow at 11:30 a.m. Jeremy will be carried back home to Louisiana for burial. Pastor Aaron Knight, Rev. Bo Brown, and Rev.
