Jamie Smith

Jamie Smith, age 62, passed away Sunday, September 25, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on September 14, 1960 to his loving parents, Jimmy and Mayo Smith both have preceded him. Jamie is survived by his sons Corey Smith (Alayna) and Austin Smith; grandchildren, Conner Smith and Brelynn Smith; sister, Tina Dover (Mike); brother, Kenny Smith; aunts, Jimmy Kizziah and Mattie Dickens; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A celebration of life will be held Friday, September 30, 2022 in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held from 6 pm to 7 pm followed by a service at 7 pm to 8 pm.

    I will truly miss my little brother. He really suffered in the last 10 days of his life. His with the heavenly father no. R.I.P.

    Jamie was a good man. He was a great friend to my father-in-law and helped my husband immensely during his father’s illness and end of life. I will always have fond memories of Jamie. My deepest condolences to the family.
