Clara Bernice Fortenberry

Clara Bernice Fortenberry, age 82, passed away in the early hours of Saturday, August 26, 2023. She was born on September 20, 1940 to her parents Carlton and Naomi McEntire, both have preceded her in passing. Clara is survived by her sons, Bruce Fortenberry (Cynthia Elledge) and Larry Fortenberry; grandsons, Wesley Fortenberry, Eric Fortenberry and Joseph Elledge; granddaughters, Markie Davis (Chris) and Breanna Downing; and several great grandchildren. Services will be held Thursday, August 31, 2023 in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held at 1 pm followed by a service at 2 pm. Clara will be laid to rest in Dargin Cemetery.
