Oscar Jackson Dearman

Oscar Jackson Dearman of Centreville, AL, age 85, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 28, 2023.  Oscar is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Carol Nelson Dearman; daughters, Retha Elizabeth Herrod (Larry) and Kristi Deerman (Paul); sons, Marc Christopher Dearman, Thomas Anthony Dearman (Nikki), Robert “Robby” Hollifield (Angie), and Joseph B. Hollifield (Mechelle); sister, Evelyn Rainer; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He is preceded by his parents and brother. Services for Oscar will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2023 at Consuming Fire Church. A visitation will begin at 10 am followed by a service at 11 am. Oscar will be laid to rest in Pineland Memorial Cemetery in Centreville, AL. Pallbearers will be Joey Holifield, Jimmy Northcutt, Paul Deerman, Drew Williams, Amos Hollifield and Jeff Herrod.
