Arnold Knox Burnett

Arnold Knox Burnett “Dick”, age 80, of Calera, Alabama, was a loving husband; wonderful father; brother; grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family, never met a stranger and was a hard worker that would do anything for anybody that needed him. Dick was the son to the late, Paul and Velma Burnett. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, James Michael Burnett; sisters, Linda Gail Burnett, Pauline Wingard, Stella Mayhan; brothers, Donald Burnett and Felix O”dell Burnett. Dick’s survivors include his loving wife, Cora Jean Burnett; daughters, Tammie Burnett Coffee (Robert) and Deborah Joyce Burnett Weems (Wayne): sons, Phillip Arnold Burnett (Sandy) and Timothy Leon Burnett; brothers, James “Fuzzy” Cecil Burnett (Elaine) and Billy Joe Burnett (Mary Alice); sister, Nancy Burks (Jimmy); and several other family members and many friends. Visitation was held Thursday, August 20, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services were held on Friday, August 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Keven Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
