Anna I. Warren Logan

Anna I. Warren Logan, Passed away Saturday Oct. 31, 2015. She was a native of Mannheim, Germany and immigrated on the USAT Blanche Sigman, March 15, 1948. She was raised in Birmingham, AL. After she married Jack Logan she resided in numerous countries including Central America, Mexico, Belgium, Germany and England. After the the death of her husband, she retired to Montevallo, AL. She graduated from John Carroll High School, Sacred Hart College, Cullman, AL; Mt. St. Scholastica College in Atchison, KS and received her Master’s Degree at Kansas State College. She was in the U. S. Army Reserve and was a Benedictine Nun, teacher in the Kansas Public System; she was loved by all of her students. At her death she was a Benedictine Oblate. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Jack Logan; father, Siegfried Harald Kundt; mother, Christl T. Warren and adoptive father, Raymond Warren. Her survivors include her sisters, Karola Buysse, Daphne, AL, Alice Coopedge, Hoover, AL and Mary Elizabeth Edwards, Sylacauga, AL ; step-daughters, Jennifer Camerer, Jackie Marquess and Julie Boll. Her Funeral was held Nov. 7, 2015 at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Montevallo, AL. Interment will be in the Alabama National Cemetery.
