Henry William “Hank” Bennett, Jr.

Henry William “Hank” Bennett, Jr., of Montevallo, passed away at the age of 87 on Monday, December 23, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born on August 27, 1937, to his parents, Henry and Doris Bennett, both have preceded him in death. He is also preceded by his daughter, Krys Bennett Webb. Hank is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Sharron Kay Bennett; son, Robert Gary Bennett; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; special friends, Phil Zeigler, Michael and Sophie Cottingham. Hank proudly served and retired from the United States Marine Corps. A graveside service will be held at the Alabama National Cemetery on Tuesday, December 31 at 11:45 am with Military Honors.
