Daniel “Burke” Joseph Burke, age 57, of Jemison, Alabama passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, September 3, 2021. Burke as everyone knew him by was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Burke, Jr and Betty Joan Yates Burke; wife, Ginger Burke. He worked at the Lime Plant in Alabaster for many years.

He is survived by his daughter, Krystle Burke Allemand (Blake) of Jemison, AL; grandchildren, Brayden Brantley and Ava-Burkely Allemand; brothers, Johnnie Burke of Pelham, AL, Scottie Burke, and Chuck Burke both of Alabaster, AL.

Services for Burke will be held on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, in the chapel of Charter Funeral Home. Family and Friends will gather starting at 6:00 p.m. followed by a Celebration of his life held at 7:00 p.m. Charter Funeral Home of Calera handling arrangements.

    When he found out that I went to school with his brother (Chuck) he ask you seen my brother lately.

    I am so sorry to read about Danny’s passing. I have fond memories of the Burke brothers growing up in my neighborhood. Prayers and hugs to each of them.
