Brenda Joyce Stevenson

Brenda Joyce Stevenson, age 82, went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 21, 2024. She worked at Uncle Bud’s Restaurant for several years before she moved to work at Healthy Harvey’s until she retired. Brenda was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Alabaster.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Lucy N. Haynes; her husband, Billy K. Stevenson; her sister and brother-in-law, Rita and Harry Robinson; her son, Kenneth Dale Stevenson; and her son-in-law Steve Talley.

 Brenda is survived by her children, Teresa Talley, Sherry Stevenson (Billy), Scott Stevenson (Maureen), Brian Stevenson (Marla), Sue Stevenson; lifelong friend, Jerri Woody; seventeen grandchildren, twenty-seven great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Services will be held at Charter Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday October 26,2024 with a visitation at 11:00 AM and the funeral to follow at 12:00 noon. She will be laid to rest in Elliottsville cemetery. Rev. Clay Farrington will be officiating.
