Annette Jacobs Nunnally

Annette Jacobs Nunnally, age 88, passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024, at home. She graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1955. She retired from the Treasury Department. She provided a loving Christian home for foster children for several years. She had a longstanding heritage in the Church of God and was a member of Alabaster Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lorne Ernest Nunnally; parents, John Mark Jacobs and Janase Dunn Jacobs; sisters, Gayle Knight and Betty Parker; and her brothers, Dayle and Mark Jacobs.

She is survived by her son, Lorne Wayne (Julie) Nunnally; grandchildren, Nathan (Madison) Nunnally and Alyssa Nunnally and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on December 9th at Charter Funeral Home with visitation at 10:30 and funeral at 11:30. Burial will follow at the Alabama National Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Nathan Nunnally, Walter Jacobs, Kenneth Jacobs, Daryl Knight, Elijah Knight, and Zachary Knight. The honorary pallbearer is Marlon Parker.
