Sherry Gentry McMurrey

Sherry Gentry McMurrey, age 76, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2024. Sherry was born to and is preceded in death by Lloyd Gentry and Margaret Dunaway Gentry. She is survived by husband, Jimmy McMurrey; son, Michael McMurrey (Michelle);  brother, Keb Gentry (DeeDee);  grandchildren, Nicole Parker (Michael), Buster McMurrey (Cassie), and KT Pate (Keith); great-grandchildren, Stormie, Brooklynn, Carmen, Caydence, Nevaeh, and Trever;. great-great granddaughter, Oaklynn; niece, Anna Hicks (Chris); great nieces, Kamryn and Addie; and great Nephew Jaxon. Sherry was a beloved hairdresser for fifty years. She was a loving mother and grandmother who will be missed dearly. Services will be held Saturday June 1, 2024 in the Charter Funeral Home Chapel. A visitation will be held at 10 am followed by a service at 11 am. She will be laid to rest in Pelham City Cemetery.
