Sandra Dee Lacey
Sandra Dee Lacey, age 52, was born on March 1, 1964 to Josephine and Frankie D. Lacey. Sandra was a life long resident of Calera, AL where she graduated from Calera High School in 1982 and went on to Tuskegee University. She passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016. She was predeceased by her father, Frankie D. Lacy and brother, Phillip Lacey. She leaves to mourn her daughter, Jazzlyn Elaine Preston; mother, Josephine Lacey; sisters, Mary Lacey Slaughter (Charles), Belinda Gail Stoudemire (Michael), and Rose Mullins (Melvin); brothers, Frankie Lacey and Alceia Lacey; nephews, Willie Lacey, Andre’Lacey (Christy), Dustin Lacey (Amy) and John Mullins, Jr.; great nephew, Jakob Lacey and a host of other family members. The family will receive friends, 12-1 p.m., Saturday, July 23, 2016 with a Memorial Service to follow at 1 p.m., both at Charter Funeral Home. Brother Richard Gibson and Brother Richard August are officiating the services.
I am so sorry for your loss. May the family find comfort from Gods Word where it promises that in the near future death and pain will be no more and it also promises that we will see our loved ones again by means of a resurrection here on earth (Revelation 21:4, Acts 24:15). What a wonderful time that will be! Until then, I hope the memories of Sandra and these promises bring you comfort in the days ahead. My condolences to the family during this difficult time.
