Marjorie Lu Whitaker, age 96, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020 in Columbiana AL. She is survived by her daughters, Freddie C. DiPlacido and Susan C Seng (Mike); son, James L. Whitaker; grandchildren, Holly C. Meier (Mike), James Clinton Whitaker (Liz), Paige A. Law (Bobby), Jordan M Seng (Leah), Ashley Williams (Nolan), Bruce M. DiPlacido (Anna), and David DiPlacido; and 18 great grandchildren. Marjorie is preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Kenneth Whitaker; and parents George and Lillian Beardslee.

“We could not have had anymore loving parents than our mother and father. Our daddy treated our mom like a queen and not a day went by that he didn’t pick her a bouquet of flowers. Now she is in Heaven with Daddy and without any pain. Thanks to our Lord and Savior.”

    God bless you, Aunt Marjie! I know you are having a joyous reunion with Uncle Ken. You will be greatly missed by your dear family.
