Larry Clark Wade

 Larry Clark Wade, age 61, of Pelham, AL, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2016. He was in the Army Band at West Point most of his career until retirement. Larry went on to perform with many local bands playing Saxophone and Clarinet primarily, but was talented with other instruments as well.  His survivors include, brother, Allan Wade (Pat); nieces, Shelly Mitchell (Nathan) and Caroline Otis and nephew, John “J” Otis, III.  A Graveside Service with Honors will be 2 pm, Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Alabama National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family
request donations made to the Shelby County Humane Society.  Charter Funeral Home.

    I am very sad to learn of Larry’s passing in 2016. I knew Larry when he was stationed at West Point. He was thoughtful, funny and very kind.
