Joseph W. Shaw

 Joseph W. Shaw, age 87, of Trussville, AL, passed away Friday, April 21, 2017.  Joe was born in Atlantic City, NJ
and grew up in Philadelphia, PN.  He attended Fork Union Military Academy in VA, he went on to graduate from UNA
on a basket ball scholarship in 1955, he was a starter all 4 years.   He retired as CEO of Jefferson County Teachers
Credit Union after 35 years. Joe was an avid golfer and a dedicated member of Holy Infant of Prague Catholic
Church.  His survivors include his wife of 62 years, Amanda Shaw; children,  Joe Shaw (Randi Block), John Shaw
(Robbie), Bob Shaw (Pam), Ann King (Bill) and Jim Shaw (Heather); sister, Jean Rankin; 9 grandchildren and 4
great grandchildren and a host of other family members.  A visitation will be 10-11 am, Tuesday, April 25, 2017 with
a Mass to follow  at 11 am at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church.  Inurnment will be in the Church Columbarium.
