Jerry Lynn Sanderson, age 70, of Calera, Al. formerly of Mayfield/ Lowes, KY. Passed away September 18, 2019 peacefully at home. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Shirley Boaz Sanderson; daughters, Lori Ann McClure & Lea Ann Hjetland; grandchildren, David & Kristin Gulledge, Madyson, Molly, Morgan & Micah Hjetland; soon to be great-granddaughter, Elissa Gulledge; dog, Macy and cat, Dickens. Jerry was a surviving Vietnam War Veteran who was a loving husband, father, grandfather and soon to be great-grandfather. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, September 20, 2019 at Alabama National Cemetery at 1:15 p.m. In lieu of flowers please make donations in Jerry’s name to The Dale Jr. Foundation.
