James Morton Ehlers

James Morton Ehlers, age 80, went to be with the Lord Monday, January 20, 2020 in Montevallo, AL. He is preceded in death by his parents Lemar and Mena Ehlers. James is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Virginia “Jenny” Ehlers; daughters, Laronda Holder and Kelly Berry; sons, James Ehlers (Trista) and Dewayne Ehlers (Ronnise); 12 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 2 sisters and 4 brothers. There will be a graveside service Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 11:00am.  Anyone wishing to attend should meet at Hopewell UMC (3845 Hwy 82, Shopton AL 36089) at 10:30am, where a processional to the cemetery will begin. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to American Heart Association or Gary Sinise Foundation
