Jackie Lloyd Smitherman

Jackie Lloyd Smitherman, age 65, of Randolph, AL, was called Home by Jesus,  Wednesday, April 27, 2016,   Jackie retired from BellSouth after over 33 years of employment. Most of all he was a loving husband, father and grandfather.   He was predeceased by his parents, Jadie and Josephine Smitherman; sister, Jadean McCormick and her husband, Charles McCormick and brother-in-law, J. B. Langston.   His survivors include his wife of 43 years,  Rebecca Smitherman; daughter, Samantha Megan Smitherman; son,Christopher Brandon Smitherman, Sr. (Francesca “Fran”); sister, Janell Langston; brothers, J. C. Smitherman (Dorothy) and Jimmy “J.T.”   Smitherman  (Carolyn “Kat”)  and grandchildren, Brianna Lynn, Sabrina Renea, Christina Nicole, Christopher Brandon, Jr. and Andrew Thomas Smitherman.  The family will receive friends, 6-7 p.m., Sunday, May 1, 2016 with a Memorial Service to follow at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
