Grace Kendrick
Grace Kendrick, From Calera Alabama, raised in the “Valley”, now known as Riverchase, passed away on 10/15/16. She is now in glory her husband of 54 years, deceased Trooper Robert Kendrick. She leaves behind one daughter, Rebecca Kendrick Gay and her husband Vernon O Gay Jr. and two grandsons, R.O. Mason Gay and Forrestt E. Gay. A visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016 at Charter Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016 at the Funeral Home. A Committal Service will be at Allen Cemetery, Hoover, AL. Charter Funeral Home is directing.

While nothing will completely take away your grief, by meditating on God’s promises found in the Bible, you can find real hope and the strength to keep going. I have found the scripture at Isaiah 25:8 to be especially comforting where it promises that soon God “will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” May God comfort you and give you peace in the days ahead. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4.
