Billie Jean Boothe

Billie Jean Boothe, age 82, of Maylene, AL, passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017. She loved to write poems about people she knew who passed away, frame them and then give them to their families.  At one time she  worked for Comfort Keepers as a care giver,  she  was good to everyone. Billie was a strong woman.  She battled cancer three different times and never complained. She was predeceased by her husband, Herman Booth and parents, Earler and Lenice Martin; brothers, Phil, Rex, Ray and Earl Martin and sisters, Betty Bishop and Brenda Lauminick.  Her survivors include her children, Lynn Kallus (Charles), Tony Boothe and Donna Boothe (Otis Dunaway); sister, Glenda Pate; grandchildren, Gary Lee Glover (Terri), Rhiannon LeCroy, Michael Nicole Byrd (Chris) and Courtney Loyd, great grandchildren, Kyle, Chase, Jackson,  Jacob, Kole, Jace, Adam and one great grand daughter on the way. A visitation will be 1-2 pm, Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at Charter Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to follow at 2 pm at the funeral home.  A Committal Service will be at Macedonia Cemetery in Pea Ridge.  Pastor Bo Brown will be officiating the services.
