Betty Joyce Kite, age 80, of Alabaster, AL, passed away, “went to the happy hunting grounds”, Friday, July 7, 2017. She was in food service/catering business in California for over 25 years. When she moved to Alabama she worked at many different Senior Citizen Organizations. She was predeceased by her husband, William V. Kite, sister, Edna Brock; brother, Charles “Sonny” Owens, Jr. ; granddaughter, Carrie Renae Johnson and grandson, Johnny Ray Johnson, Jr. Her survivors include her children, Johnny Ray Johnson, Robin Johnson McCabe (Bernard) and James “Jim” P. Johnson; sister, Barbara Ann Higgins; grandchildren, Jesslyn Johnson Blake (Bobby), Ashley McCabe Curl (Seth), Candace Johnson, Amanda McCabe and Kyle Johnson and great grandson, Michael Trent Emfinger. A Celebration of Life will be
